Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has exceeded one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in just one month. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, shops and community areas. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.
The prevention effort is part of wider social programmes supported news european elections by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
